HAWAII KAI (HawaiiNewsNow) -
Hundreds of families decided to treat dad to a big breakfast in East Oahu Sunday, courtesy of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club. Thousands of pancakes, sausage links, and other goodies filled the Kaiser High School Cafeteria.
For nearly 40 years, the Lions Club has hosted the event as a fundraiser for the organization. It gives dads a chance to spend time with their families while supporting the community.
“We’ve been going strong for 39 years and people expect it every year. They can bring their whole family which is so economical and they can all enjoy themselves together,” said club member Cindy Chun
Sunday’s fundraiser will benefit vision testing for preschool students, repair and maintenance for public schools, and the annual Hawaii Kai holiday parade.
